The Davidson County Residential Recovery Court Program (DC4) is a transformative, long-term therapeutic community dedicated to changing lives, rebuilding families, and enhancing public safety. It offers comprehensive and multifaceted treatment for individuals involved in the criminal justice system in Tennessee who are dealing with significant substance use challenges.
What is DC4?

The DC4 treatment program utilizes an evidence-based therapeutic community approach that views criminal behavior and substance abuse as interconnected issues affecting the whole person. This comprehensive strategy encourages participants to confront harmful thought patterns and unhealthy behaviors. Community members engage in therapeutic activities such as process groups, individual counseling, educational sessions, and recovery support meetings to help them identify and effectively respond to challenging situations in their daily social interactions or from past lifestyle choices.
Why we are different?

How we serve?
By promoting right-living values and encouraging prosocial behavior changes, we improve public safety and significantly lower recidivism rates by providing participants with the essential skills and support necessary to reconnect with their families and successfully reintegrate into their communities.
“Recovery is much more than abstinence. It involves soul-searching, growth, and everything in between. It is a refreshing and empowering experience that cannot be understood until you live it.” - DL
