  • How long is your program?

    It is a long-term treatment program. The residential program typically takes an average of 18-24 months to complete for felony participants. However, the length of time is based on individual progress.

  • Who do you contact when determining if someone has been accepted into the recovery court program?

    Inquiries regarding the status of an admission application should be made to DC4Admissions@jisnashville.gov.

  • How does someone apply for the program?

    All referrals must be made directly through a representative from the courts. Referrals can be made from attorneys, judges, other recovery court programs, probation officers, and other court officials.

  • Upon arrival into the program, when may relatives and friends visit?

    Residents are eligible for visits after they have completed 3 weeks of orientation. Visitation takes place every other Sunday from 2:00-3:00 pm. All visitors must complete a criminal background check and take a 1-hour orientation class at the facility. The orientation classes are held every 1st and 2nd Sundays of the month.

  • Upon arrival into the program, when can residents start receiving packages? What are acceptable items?

    Residents may start receiving packages immediately upon arrival or upon counselor discretion. All packages must be approved by a counselor prior to delivery. Acceptable items are clothing and alcohol-free hygiene items. For more information about packages and items, see our For Families page.

  • What time can packages or money be dropped off at the drug court facility?

    Items may be dropped off Monday-Friday from 8:00am–4:00pm. Postal money orders are preferred, but we can accept cash as well. Cash must be $40.00 or less. Funds received by the end of business Wednesdays will be made available to the residents on Thursdays. DC4 is not responsible for missing money.
