Rules and regulations for residents for reference.

DC4 Clothing List

  • Six (6) Pair Shoes (Total)
    (1 pr. Flip/Flops or Shower Shoes, 1pr. House Shoes, 4pr. Dress, Sneakers, Work Day to Day) 

  • Ten (10) Pair Socks 

  • Ten (10) Pair Underwear (including Long Johns) 

  • One (1) Bathrobe 

  • Five (5) Sleepwear (5 T-Shirts, 2 Shorts)

  • Seven (7) Shirts (Button Down/Nice Shirts) 

  • Five (5) Pair Pants 

  • Three (3) Sweaters/Hoodies/Jogging Sets 

  • One (1) Jacket (Windbreaker/Light Jacket) 

  • One (1) Coat 

  • One (1) Set Work Clothes 

 

Additional Work Outfits must be approved case by case 

(1) Etiquette Outfit (Service Dress Attire) 

Kitchen Crews may have (3) additional T-shirts 

DCDCRP Residential Dress Code

Male Residents 

  1. Shirt, pants, belts, and shoes must be worn at all times when not in the bed.  Undergarments must be worn and not visible. 

  2. Pants must be worn at the waist.  No sagging. 

  3. No tank tops. 

 

Female Residents 

  1. Shirt, pants, dresses, and shoes must be worn at all times when not in the bed.  Undergarments must be worn and not visible. 

  2. Halter tops, spaghetti strap clothing, tube tops, and tank tops are never appropriate. 

 

All Residents 

  1. No sexually revealing clothing. 

  2. No clothing to promote crimes, gangs, sex, alcohol, or drugs.   

  3. Sunglasses are to be worn outside only. 

  4. Residents will be neatly dressed in proper clothes on a daily basis.  Hats are not to be worn indoors.  “Do” rags/wave caps are not to be worn outside the sleeping area. 

  5. All clothing (dresses, skirts, and shorts) must be no shorter than above the knee. 

  6. Pajamas or robes are not to be worn outside the sleeping/shower areas. 

  7. Seven pair of shoes per resident:  One pair of boots, one pair of shower shoes, one pair of house shoes and four pair of shoes. 

  8. All clothing and other items brought into the community are to be approved by counselor.  This pertains to items that are left to you on Sunday after visit and listed on package request. 

  9. Body piercing or body jewelry is not allowed. 

  10. Residents should be clean, neat, and dressed appropriately on all job search passes. 

  11. No tank tops/sleeveless or cap sleeve shirts allowed. 

  12. No cigarettes behind the ears. 

  13. Do not wear any cut-off T-shirts.

Contraband

Residents are not allowed to possess the following items:  

  1. Weapons or explosive devise of any sort. 

  2. Medications (prescription or non-prescription) unsecured by staff (including Ginsing, etc.). 

  3. In Phases 1 and 2, money over $25.00 unsecured by staff. 

  4. Clothing that promotes profanity, alcohol/drug use, or criminal behavior. 

  5. All cell phones, mobile devices, and media storage (CD’s, DVD’s, electronics, etc.) 

  6. Food/drinks in room other than water. 

  7. Tattooing equipment. 

  8. Sexually explicit material. 

  9. Camouflage clothing.  

  10. Steel-toed shoes or boots not for work use. 

  11. Televisions. 

  12. Fans (medical orders only). 

  13. Cameras. 

  14. Razors with removable cartridge blades. 

  15. Shoes with cleats or high heels over 3”. 

  16. Items made of glass. 

  17. Drugs or paraphernalia. 

  18. Unauthorized chairs or tables, etc. 

  19. Starch. 

  20. Bleach. 

  21. Unauthorized lights (strobe, etc.) 

  22. Electric Blankets 

  23. Portable Heaters 

  24. Gambling devices 

  25. Personal massagers 

  26. Statues, trophies, etc. 

  27. Flowers or plants (including fake) 

  28. Pets 

  29. Wall clocks or radio alarm clocks.  

  30. Knuckle rings 

  31. Wall clocks or radio alarms 

  32. No alcohol-based cologne, perfumes, aftershave or body spray (only non-aerosol are permitted 

  33. No alcohol-based mouthwash 

  34. No aerosol cans. 

  35. Any other item determined to be inappropriate by staff. 

  36. No e-cigarettes, vaporizers, etc.
